Xiaomi has recently posted on their Facebook handle that they are launching their much awaited Bezel-Less beauty in India known as the Mi MIX 2.
If you recall, when this device was launched in China at that time Manu Kumar Jain(Chief Global President of Xiaomi) has said that soon we will be bringing it to the Indian market and today they have announced the official launch date and the venue where the event will going to happen. First let me break your curiosity, the launch will take place in Delhi at 11:30 A.M on 10th of October. As we all know Diwali(an Indian festival) is coming and it looks like this time Xiaomi will play safe as it is believed that purchasing new products on the occasion of Diwali is a positive thing. So because of this solid reason, Xiaomi may sell more units of the device than expected. Though we believe that launching Mi6 in the Indian market will make more sense.
Let me get you recall the specs of the device; Mi MIX 2 comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-Core processor coupled with optional 6GB/8GB of RAM along with an Adreno 540 GPU for Gaming. It will be available in 64GB and 128GB ROM versions. The device runs on MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. It is a Dual-SIM device, and expandable storage is not available on this device. It is made up of Glass-Metal and looks super premium.
It has a 6.0(inch) Full-HD Plus IPS LCD Display with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. In the rear, it sports a 12MP Camera with PDAF, OIS, LED Flash and in the front, there is a 5MP snapper. It runs on a 3400mAh battery and has a USB Type-C port for Charging. According to us, Xiaomi will only launch its Black variant in India, and it will be priced somewhere near to 30000 INR as above this price OnePlus 5 is already there which offers a better overall package.
