HMD’s Nokia 2 is a long-rumored entry-level device by the Finnish company, and its rumors and leaks have been circulating since then. The device is expected to come with a massive 4000mAh battery and probably an entry-level Qualcomm SoC; which would be very power efficient. And the design is similar to its elder siblings like the Nokia 3 and 5.
However, the only missing part of the puzzle was its launch date, which is now revealed by a chat between Nokia Myanmar and one of its fans showing that the Nokia 2 may launch in November in Myanmar. So, this also suggests that it may head over to other countries much earlier before it makes way towards Myanmar as Nokia is currently strong only in countries which are part of south-east Asia and the middle-east.
Moreover, the device could see an announcement in mid-October, and it will start shipping in late October to early November seems quite the perfect time. Talking about other specs, the Nokia 2 will sport a 5-inch 720p HD panel; and will come with a Snapdragon 212 chipset paired with 1GB to a maximum 2GB of RAM; moreover, a base of 8GB-16GB ROM is expected.
Furthermore, the handset will run on pure stock Android, with almost zero bloatware pre-installed. Apparently, we still have no information on how HMD plans to update it. Because they were generous enough to upgrade its entry-level budget phone Nokia 3 to Android Oreo sometime in future. As far pricing is concerned, you can expect it to come between $150 to $210 price range.
Meanwhile, have a look at the latest Nokia 9 which the company’s next-gen flagship, leaks in sketches and renders recently, from the front and rear.
